A seminar on National Education Policy

A seminar on National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 was organized by Surya Foundation in Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The objective of the seminar was to specify ways and means to make education more affordable and reachable to all sections of the society. The seminar also suggested ways of cutting down the mental and physical burden on the students by reducing the weight of the school bags. Padmashree Jaiprakash Agarwal, Chairman-Surya Foundation has always believed that the education should be more enriching, and not a factor for triggering the physical and mental stress on children. With his inspiration, the Education Think Tank of Surya Foundation has developed and designed Surya Bharati books that contain the entire syllabus of a particular class in a single integrated book “One Class-One Book – All in One”. The emphasis was to make the contents of these books comprehensible, and self-explanatory. Gupta, Dr. Gujjarmal Verma, Prof. D.P. Nayyar and many more.

The stories, quizzes and different pictures depict the great culture and history of Bharat. It also promotes environmental protection. The lessons in the books have been designed in accordance with the guidelines of the National Education Policy 2020.
