World Environment Day is a global initiative led by the United Nations to encourage worldwide participation in protecting our planet and promoting sustainable development.

Ambassadors from 7 different countries participated in World Environment Day by GTTCI
New Delhi, India- On 7th June, 2023, Global Trade and Technology Council, India (GTTCI) organised World Environment Day 2023 event. The event was held at National Museum Auditorium, Janpath New Delhi and they welcomed distinguished Ambassadors from various countries.
Esteemed guests including HE H Dillium, Ambassador of Mauritius, HE Mr Ganbold Dambajav, Ambassador of Embassy of Mongolia, Mr. KAWAZU Kunihiko, DCM of Embassy of Japan, HE Mr KL Ganju, Union of Comoros, Abuk Deng Bulabek, Counsellor of Embassy of South Sudan, Jibeni Younnes Amum Nykeir, Second Secretary of Embassy of South Sudan and Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Executive Chairperson of Religare Group graced the occasion with their presence.
Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President - GTTCI delivered welcome address and presented a bio compostable plamters to all guests. World Environment Day is a global initiative led by the United Nations to encourage worldwide participation in protecting our planet and promoting sustainable development. It serves as a platform to address various environmental challenges, such as climate change, deforestation, pollution, biodiversity loss, and sustainable consumption. It serves as a reminder that protecting the environment is everyone's responsibility. By working together, we can create a sustainable future and ensure the well-being of our planet for generations to come.
All panelists focused on this year's theme #BeatPlasticPollution and appreciated the efforts of GTTCI in organising such initiatives and platforms for enrichment of knowledge and idea sharing to execute greater plans for greener tomorrow.
The programme commenced with Ganesh Vandana by Team Ol' That Jazz followed by a welcome address by Dr. Gaurav Gupta, Founder President - GTTCI. After that, Commencement of Panel Discussion took place with felicitation of Panelists, Guests & Partners.
Esteemed panelist’s included Dr. Rashmi Saluja, Executive Chairperson of Religare Group, Sh Sushil Goswami, Dr. Shankar Goenka, Managing Director of WOW Factors and Dr. Amit Kaur Puri.
Then the Summer Dance Show started - Exuberance by Ol’ That Jazz which consisted of different dance acts by different age groups. Dr. Pawan Kansal (Chairperson GTTCI) felicitated the guests along with Dr. Gaurav.
The programme ended on a happy note with a vote of thanks followed by award ceremony and hi-tea.
