Ajmer Sharif Langar Distribution on Ramazan Sharif and Baisakhi observance.   Chishty Foundation - Ajmer Sharif 

On the Blessed and Sacred Occasion of Ramazan Mubarak and also the sacred celebration of Baisakhi, the Dargah Ajmer Sharif witness the celebration by offering of Small Shahi Deg Langar Food Preparation and Distribution on behalf of GuruNanak Darbar Gurudwara, Dubai - UAE Chairman Shri Surender Singh Kandhari saheb and Chairperson Smt Bubbles Kandhari saheba ji and with Global Interfaith Peace Initiatives of Chishty Foundation - Ajmer Sharif by Chairman - Haji Syed Salman Chishty - Gaddi Nashin - Dargah Ajmer Sharif.
The Blessed occasion and gathering was graced by Ajmer District Police IG Shri Rupinder Singh saheb and Ajmer District Collecter Shri Anshdeep Ji along with senior officials of both Police Department and City Administration, as it was a historical moment where both heads of District Police Departmnt and City Administration were together to serve the Shahi Deg Langar food preparation as well as distribution in Dargah Ajmer Sharif. The officials were welcomed and received by Haji Syed Salman Chishty along with senior members of Khuddam e Khawaja Community and Anjuman SyedZadghan Committee including Syed Munnawar Chishty, Syed Tariq Chishty, Syed Imran Khawajaghani sb, Syed Aman Chishty, Syed Mehraj Chishty, Syed Afshan Chishty member Moulana Azad Foundation, with Ajmer Interfaith Council President Shri Prakash Jain sb and senior council members from all faith representatives at the main entrance Nizam Gate of Dargah Ajmer Sharif, as the Shahi Qawwals recited Sufi Qalam’s while welcoming the honourable guests the delegation went to the Small Shahi Deg to put the ingredients of Rice, Sugar, Dry Fruits, Pure Ghee and other rich ingredients also the delegates helped in steering the 2000 Kg food capacity cauldron which dates back to almost 500 years in 15th Century. 

The Small Shahi Deg Vegetarian langar is set up to facilitate the devotees visiting the holy shrine of Ajmer Dargah Sharif as well as near by villages and offer them a delicious rich and healthy meals for more than 100,000 people were served regardless of their caste, creed, or religion. The aim behind organizing the Shahi Deg Langar is to promote the spirit of communal harmony and foster a sense of togetherness among people of different faiths. As the Noble Teachings of Khawaja Gharib Nawaz(r) reflects in each noble act of serving in Dargah Ajmer Sharif which is Sun like Grace, River like Generosity and Earth Like Hospitality as they don’t make any differences among whom they are serving so one should develop such spiritual attributes of serving with Unconditional Love towards All. The sacred event and gatherings of seekers was a highly appreciated by all and was also well received by the Senior Officials in their speeches and remarks at Ahata e Noor courtyard of Dargah Sharif where both Police IG Shri Rupinder Singh ji and District Collecter Shri Anshdeep ji appreciated the efforts of the all Khuddam e Khawaja Gharib Nawaz(r) Community efforts and the noble initiative by Haji Syed Salman Chishty of Global Interfaith Dialougue and Sewa Works. 

Gurunanak Darbar Gurudwara Sahib in Dubai has been actively involved in promoting inter -faith harmony and social welfare activities for decades. This joint initiative with Chishty Foundation at Ajmer Dargah Darbar Sharif in India is part of their ongoing efforts to spread the message of love, peace, and brotherhood. The Shahi Deg Langar is a symbol of generosity and humility that emphasizes the importance of serving others without any discrimination. Haji Syed Salman Chishty in his vote of thanks expressed his thanks to District Police Department Senior Officials as well as District Administrations Officials for gracing the sacred event and gratitude towards GuruNanak Darbar Gurudwara, Dubai as well as Shri Surender Singh Kandhari sb for such initiatives play a crucial role in building strong communities and promoting social cohesion among people from diverse backgrounds. They also promote the values of compassion, inclusiveness, and respect, which are essential for creating a harmonious and peaceful society. 

The Dargah Ajmer Sharif and GuruNanak Darbar Gurudwara's efforts are especially relevant in today's world, where there is growing polarization and division along religious, ethnic, and ideological lines.
