Ambassadors and Diplomats Rejoiced in Rajasthani Academy's Teej Celebrations
The Rajasthani Academy, an organization dedicated to promoting Rajasthani culture in Delhi NCR for the past 33 years, celebrated Teej 2024 for its members on 5th August 2024 at Bikanervala, Gurugram. The event, organized with the blessings and principles of the late Sh. R.N. Lakhotia Ji, was a vibrant display of Rajasthani heritage.
The celebration featured various attractions, including professional Rajasthani dance performances by institutes and individuals, mehndi, gajra, a traditional Teej swing, and gifts. The atmosphere was filled with the joy of Rajasthani music, dance, and delicious chaat by Bikanervala, bringing everyone together in a festive spirit.
The event saw the presence of esteemed guests such as the Ambassadors of Mauritius and Venezuela, the spouse of the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan, diplomats from Ghana and Niger, and the Consul General of the Union of Comoros. They all joined in the celebrations, grooving to the vibrant Rajasthani music.
Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) from Udaipur, Shri Chunni Lal, graced the event with his presence. Dr. Gaurav Gupta, President of the Rajasthani Academy, welcomed the guests and announced the annual 32nd Rajasthani Folk Dance Competition (Inter-school) to be held on 8th October 2024 at Kamani Auditorium.
Suman Maheshwari, Secretary of the Academy, anchored the event beautifully, filling the crowd with smiles through her melodious verses. Navratan Aggarwal of Bikanervala received great praise for hosting the event at Bikanervala Sector 29, Gurugram, and for his warm hospitality.
Special guests and members honored at the event included CA Sandeep Goel, Rajeev Mittal, Lion Kapil Khandelwal, P.S. Dhingra, Ramavatar Kila, G.N. Bhatt, Prashant Sharma.

Richa Mehta showcased Rajasthani culture with her curation of Rajasthani fashion walk empowering women of all ages to walk the ramp whilst showcase vibrant Rajasthani culture.
The Teej celebration was a fun-filled event that brought the community together, celebrating Rajasthani culture with joy and enthusiasm.
