Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation after completing a month of successful operation in the complete stretch of North-South corridor from CCS Airport to Munshipulia Metro Station, started an awareness campaign in the schools of Lucknow about what to do and what not to do inside the premises of Lucknow Metro. Today the team of Lucknow Metro visited three branches of CMS (Chowk, Rajajipuram1 & Rajajipuram2) where they gave a complete briefing about the working, safety and other things which metro has done for the betterment of society.
The students seem to be very keen to know about their metro. Today, they have learned about all the necessary things which they have to be before travelling in the metro. Children came to know that Lucknow Metro is designed in such a way to replicate all the major things for which Lucknow is famous. The front of Metro Train where you find an inverted ‘Dome’ structure which is inspired from the historical monuments of Lucknow, the black color in the front is taken from ‘Hazratganj’ where you can see all the signage’s with black color, the headlights of Lucknow Metro is inspired from the eyes of a traditional ‘Kathak Dancer’ with the ‘Chickenkari’ work on either sides of the rolling stock.
Lucknow Metro has started many new things in which the students as well as all the people from Lucknow can take part and showcase their talent. On every Saturday and Sunday at Hazratganj Metro Station there is a band performance from 6 PM to 8 PM where you only have to showcase your talent and all the other things will be take care by Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation itself. In addition to it, LMRC has also started a campaign called ‘Metro Marvels’ in which the students from different schools will get a chance to see each and every aspect of the working of Lucknow Metro. Now you can also celebrate your birthday with Lucknow Metro too.
Not only this, at their premises, students also learned the proper use of the escalators, lifts and also how they can get many benefits by using the ‘Gosmart Card’ by the officials of LMRC.
