Adarsh Yuva Aadhyatmik Guru” Ideal Youth Spiritual Mentors Award on Syed Salman Chishty, Founder Chairman -Chisty Foundations by MIT World’s Peace University -Pune.
Bhartiya Chhatra Sansad, School of Government, MIT World’s Peace University, Pune has conferred Adarsh Yuva Adhyatmik Guru Puraskar on Haji Syed Salman Chishty today, *January 20, 2019* for his outstanding contribution in Spiritual Renaissance of India and Promotion of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
Since the age of Budha in the ancient India, the essence of our philosophy has been “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” that is; Universal Brotherhood. The spiritual voyage of India continues and flourishes during the medieval period in the form of Sufism and Bhakti. The famous Sufi Saint Hazret Khawaja Moinuddin Chishty (R.A.) takes this tradition of love, brotherhood and compassion to a new height with the sublime Philosophical ways of “Love Towards All, Malice towards None” as the core principles of Chishty Sufi Order for serving Humanity and all Creation since last 800 years from Ajmer Sharif – India to the Global platforms.
This glorious journey doesn’t vanish in the rapidly changing modern world. Swami Vivekananda puts his effort in the late nineteenth century and makes the world believe and re-realize the true spirit of Indianness.
Twentieth century India produces a new saint in the form of Mahatma Gandhi whose Ahimsa (Non-violence) makes it’s footprints on the world’s floor and proves that the hatred can be defeated by sacred love and the mighty rule can be demoralized by the polite soul.
It is well documented fact that Peace Brotherhood and Love for All are the true messages of humanity. Following this glorious tradition and legacy of Sufism, Chishty Foundation’s Chairman Haji Syed Salman Chishty Sahab aspires to encompass all the ideas of brotherhood and peace drawn from various walks of life and strives to make this world more beautiful, liveable and lovable.
We invite you all to grace the occasion with your presence and take this message forward.
Afzal Ali Shah Maududi.
