Korea to make huge investment in UP. Will strengthen both Religious and Economic bonds –Korean Ambassador Shin Bongkill.
“Korea to keenly invest in UP in the field of electronics,Tourism, Automobiles” said the Korean Ambassador to India, HE Shin Bongkill at a press and media gatherings in Lucknow.. Highlighting ages old cultural and religious ties between Korea and Town of Ayodya, The Ambassador said that in 848 a Princess of Ayodhya was married to Korean Prince. Ever-since then, both countries hold bonded relations. Ambassador also mentioned that cultural exchange festivals will take place, between both the countries.
He mentioned the recent visit of PM Modi in 2015 and then that of President Kovind to Republic of Korea, which further strengthened the ties between both the countries. He was appreciative of Modi government GST, Make in India policy, and good friendly economic atmosphere in UP.
A Investors meeting between the representative of both the countries took place on Monday in Lucknow. UP government officials also took part in the deliberations. Industrial giants Mahendra &Mahindra have made substantial investment in Korea..The Ambassador is positive that “”further investment will take place in Tourism, Automobiles and electronic sectors””. He mentioned 30 industrial giants like Samsung , LG, Hundai and others have already started factories in NOIDA. He further said that cheap labour costs and other infrastructure facilities are the main reasons for setting up Korean industries in UP. Ambassador mentioned that many industrial giants are owned by royal families of Korea.
Ayodhya and Buddhist sites like Sarnath will see a boost in Religious tourism,. He also mentioned that 1/3rd of Korean population follow Hindu religion which is the main reason for developing Ayodhya.
In the evening the Koreans are holding a cultural show which includes “JUMP “,,a martial art ,popularity of Korea. It includes martial arts, aerobatics, hilarious Shinanigans and slap stick comedy. S N Singh represented UP government at the media interaction.
