Big boost to UP Tourism after huge success of Investors summit 2018.
Ministry of Tourism has received nearly 15 proposals and signed MoU worth Rs.1405 crores, during the two days of Investors summit. This will give a great boost to the tourism industry, creating an employment for nearly 32,000. Awanish Awasthi, Principal Secretary, Tourism secretary said that Eco -Medical tourism, Wellness centres, Heritage and Religious tourism Resort and five star hotels will be main area of development in the state.
Principal Secretary Awasthi said that many proposal have come even after the investors summit is over and the UP government is already started work on implementing these proposals, help from Union government will be sought ,to get NOC clearance. Government is accepting all proposals and work will be done on priority basis,soon.All benefits, as envisaged in the policies, will be passed on the investors.
Boosting Tourism is the main aim of the UP Government and their will be transparency in all departments regarding the consideration of the proposals, this was disclosed by Tourism minister Rita Bahuguna Joshi.
