Delhi BJP OBC Morcha Organizes Youth Parliament On The Birth Anniversary Of Swami Vivekanand
New Delhi, 12th January, 2018: Delhi BJP OBC Morcha organized Youth Parliament at Constitution Club, New Delhi today which was presided over by Morcha President Shri Gaurav Khari.
There were two subjects for the discussion in Youth Parliament, firstly the Constitution of National Backward Classes Commission and Constitutional Status to it and secondly caste in politics and politicization of caste. In the beginning of the programme floral tributes were paid to the inspiration of youth Swami Vivekanand on his Birth Anniversary.
The Morcha workers presented their views in the Youth Parliament and after that the BJP National General Secretary Shri Bhupender Yadav, Pradesh InchargeShri Shyam Jaju, former Vice Chancellor of Poorvanchal Vishwavidhyalaya Dr. P.C. Patanjali addressed the youth.
On this occasion Shri Bhupender Yadav said that the Congress Party is putting hindrance in the formation of OBC Commission by saying that one of the members of the Commission should be from Minority Community whereas there is a separate Commission for the Minority Community. He said that the Congress Party did not ensure justice for the last 5 generations of OBC communities and it is regrettable that even today it is putting hindrance in the upliftment of OBC due to its policy of appeasement of a particular religious committee. The coming 5 generations of OBC Community will ensure that the country remains Congress free.
Shri Shyam Jaju said that it is the responsibility of OBC Morcha to facilitate development of all the backward classes and cooperate in the development of other social groups besides the development of the country. The OBC Morcha will work to strengthen the Delhi BJP at Booth level and play an important role in formation of BJP Government at Centre in 2019.
