KGMU celebrates Golden Jubilee of 1967 batch with fanfare.

Lucknow, 26th November: It was a golden moment for the 1967 batch of King George’s Medical College, Lucknow who had reassembled in the Brown Hall of the Administrative block, 25th November 2017, to celebrate the Golden Jubilee function. 120 students of the batch took part, and they were blessed by Teachers like Dr.R P Sahi, Dr. Mahindra, Dr T C Goel, Dr.A.K Agarwal, Dr.Haleem, Dr P K Mishra, and Dr. Mansoor Hassan.

Chief guest Prof. M L.Bhatt, Vice Chancellor of King George Medical University lightened the lamp along with the teachers of 1967 batch.

During these golden 50 years, many students achieved National and International recognition to support the medical Science and Humanity. Dr. M N Kapoor organising secretary of the Alumni function presented the report in which he mentioned Dr.R K Srivastav, L B Prasad, Dr. Janganpani, Dr.Harjeet Singh, Dr. G K Malik,

Tree plantation was done in the campus of King George’s Medical University.

A memorable film made on those alumni who passed away during the period was also screened and which brought tears to all, who saw it. It was the most poignant moment of the day.

Greatness lies when you remember those who played and studied with you, and with those with whom you shared most beautiful moments during college lifetime.
