Scholarship schemes for Engineering students at JIT, Barabanki
Barabanki, 09th August: With the main purpose of helping the Minorities financially, Sahayta Trust of Hyderabad, has come with some innovative and encouraging monetary schemes, to benefit them. In collaboration, with the prestigious Jahangirabad Institute of Technology, Barabanki.
Addressing full house gathering, at the UP Press Club , Brig (Retd) S.Ahmed Ali , Ex-Pro VC of Aligarh Muslim University said that Jahangirabad Institute of Technology has announced the scheme, under which out of the total annual fees of Rs. 78,500, Sahayta Trust of Hyderabad will provide a financial grant of about Rs. 60,000 to the deserving students. Total 150 scholarship have been set aside, out of which 100 will be for boys and another 50 for girls. This scholarship is applicable to B.Tech courses.
Prof Dr. Khawaja Rafi, the Director of the Jahangirabad Institute of Technology, Barabanki, in an conversation with the Editor, said that there will be an online registration of the students, who have secured 85% for boys and 65 % for the girls in their 12th school examination, They can register on www.jit.edu.in and click on Sahayta scholarship online test. They will have to appear for a written examination in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. The scholarship will be strictly awarded on merit basis. By providing financial assistance to minorities, The trust aims to help them monetarily and lessen their financial burden. After graduating, the students will be able to secure comfortable jobs.
Jahangirabad Institute of Technology, Barabanki ,established in 2005 under Jahangirabad Educational Trust, has also Jahangirabad Media Institute, to boost its credibility. Besides the institute also offers various courses in Arts, Commerce.
